Description of Molybdenum Disulfide Powder

Molybdenum disulfide (or moly) is an inorganic compound composed of molybdenum and sulfur. Its chemical formula is mos. The compound is classified as a transition metal dichalcogenide. It is a silvery black solid that occurs as the mineral molybdenite, the principal ore for molybdenum. is relatively unreactive. It is unaffected by dilute acids and oxygen. In appearance and feel, molybdenum disulfide is similar to graphite.

It is widely used as a dry lubricant because of its low friction and robustness. Bulk mos. is a diamagnetic, indirect bandgap semiconductor similar to silicon, with a bandgap MoS2 is naturally found as either molybdenite, a crystalline mineral, or jordanite, a rare low-temperature form of molybdenite. Molybdenite ore is processed by flotation to give relatively pure Mos. the main contaminant is carbon. MOs also arises by thermal treatment of virtually all molybdenum compounds with hydrogen sulfide or elemental sulfur and can be produced by metathesis reactions from molybdenum pentachloride.

MoS2 excels as a lubricating material (see below) due to its layered structure and low coefficient of friction. Interlayer sliding dissipates energy when shear stress is applied to the material. Extensive work has been performed to characterize the coefficient of friction and shear strength of MoS2 in various atmospheres.

The shear strength of MoS2 increases as the coefficient of friction increases. This property is called superlubricity. At ambient conditions, the coefficient of friction for MoS2 was determined to be 0.150, with a corresponding estimated shear strength of 56.0 MPa. Direct methods of measuring the shear strength indicate that the value is closer to the wear resistance of MoS2 in lubricating applications can be increased by doping MoS2 with chromium.

Flakes thinner than 5 layers undergo homogenous bending and rippling, while flakes around 10 layers are thickly delaminated through interlayer sliding. Flakes with more than 20 layers exhibited a kinking mechanism during micromechanical cleavage. The cleavage of these flakes was also determined to be reversible due to the nature of van der Waals bonding.

Molybdenum Telluride Description:

Molybdenum is a Block D, Group 6, Period 5 element with an atomic weight of 95.96. Molybdenum Bohr Model. The number of electrons in each of molybdenum's shells is [2, 8, 18, 13, 1] and its electron configuration is 4d5 5s1.

The molybdenum atom has a radius of 139 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 209 pm. In its elemental form, molybdenum has a gray metallic appearance. Molybdenum is the 54th most abundant element in the earth's crust.

MolybdenumIt has the third highest melting point of any element, exceeded only by tungsten and tantalum. Molybdenum does not occur naturally as a free metal, it is found in various oxidation states in minerals.

The primary commercial source of molybdenum is molybdenite, although it is also recovered as a byproduct of copper and tungsten mining. The origin of the name Molybdenum comes from the Greek word molubdos meaning lead.

Molybdenum Zinc Oxide Description

 Zinc: Zinc  is a Block D, Group 12, Period 4 element with an atomic weight of 65.38. The number of electrons in each of zinc's shells is 2, 8, 18, 2, and its electron configuration is [Ar] 3d10 4s2 The zinc atom has a radius of 134 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 210 pm. Zinc was discovered by Indian metallurgists prior to 1000 BC and first recognized as a unique element by Rasaratna Samuccaya in 800. Zinc was first isolated by Andreas Marggraf in 1746. In its elemental form, zinc has a silver-gray appearance. It is brittle at ordinary temperatures but malleable at 100 °C to 150 °C. It is a fair conductor of electricity, and burns in air at high red producing white clouds of the oxide. Zinc is mined from sulfidic ore deposits. It is the 24th most abundant element in the earth's crust and the fourth most common metal in use (after ironaluminum, and copper). Good printability, electrical conductivity, high hardness, and strong adhesion. This kind of product has good bending resistance, low modulus, good performance, and excellent solvent resistance. Good adhesion to PET, PI, ITO substrate and FR substrate. Typical applications: printing of electronic circuits such as membrane switches, keyboards, remote controls, flexible printed circuits, and FPCs. Miniature supercapacitor.

Instructions for use of Mxene Inks: 1. Applicable substrate: PET, PC, ITO, etc. 2. Stir: Stir thoroughly for 5 to 10 minutes before use. 3. Dilute: special diluent, the added proportion should not exceed 3% of the total weight. 4. Recommended process: Printing thickness: wet film: 20μm; dry film: 4-7μm; Silk screen: 250-300 mesh polyester or stainless steel screen printing; Scraper: Polyurethane or solvent resistant material; Equipment: Semi-automatic printing machine; Curing conditions: Oven: 130 ℃ × 20 min IR furnace: 135 ℃ × 10 min (can be adjusted according to customer requirements) Cleaning agent: acetone or diethylene glycol ether acetate.

Due to the significant environmental impact of the process, screen printing is recommended to be divided into batches and used up within 8 hours. Installing a protective cover can reduce the volatilization of product components and cut off dust particles in the air to ensure quality.

Description of  Super Adsorption Activated Porous Carbon Powder

Solid carbon comes in different forms known as allotropes depending on the type of chemical bond. The two most common are diamond and graphite less common ones include buckminsterfullerene. In diamond the bonds are sp3 and the atoms form tetrahedra with each bound to four nearest neighbors.

In graphite, they are sp2 orbital hybrids and the atoms form in planes with each bound to three nearest neighbors 120 degrees apart.

The individual layers are called graphene. In each layer, the carbon atoms are arranged in a honeycomb lattice with a separation of 0.142 nm, and the distance between planes is 0.335 nm. Atoms in the plane are bonded covalently, with only three of the four potential bonding sites satisfied. The fourth electron is free to migrate in the plane, making graphite electrically conductive. Bonding between layers is via weak van der Waals bonds, which allows layers of graphite to be easily separated, or to slide past each other. Electrical conductivity perpendicular to the layers is consequently about 1000 times lower.

The two known forms of graphite, alpha (hexagonal) and beta (rhombohedral) have very similar physical properties, except that the graphene layers stack slightly differently. The alpha graphite may be either flat or buckled. The alpha form can be converted to the beta form through mechanical treatment and the beta form reverts to the alpha form when it is heated above 1300 °C.

Barium is a Block S, Group 2, Period 6 element with an atomic weight of 137.27. The number of electrons in each of barium's shells is [2, 8, 18, 18, 8, 2] and its electron configuration is [Xe] 6s2. Barium is a member of the alkaline-earth metals. The barium atom has a radius of 222 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 268 pm. Barium was discovered by Carl Wilhelm Scheele in 1772 and first isolated by Humphry Davy in 1808. In its elemental form, barium is a soft, silvery-gray metal. Industrial applications for barium include acting as a "getterer," or unwanted gas remover, for vacuum tubes, and as an additive to steel and cast iron. Barium is also alloyed with silicon and aluminum as load-bearing alloys. The main commercial source of barium is the mineral barite (BaSO4) it does not occur naturally as a free element .
