Description:
Aluminum alloys (or aluminum alloys; see spelling differences) are alloys in which aluminum (Al) is the predominant metal. The typical alloying elements are copper, magnesium, manganese, silicon, tin and zinc.
There are two principal classifications, namely casting alloys and wrought alloys, both of which are further subdivided into the categories heat-treatable and non-heat-treatable. About 85% of aluminum is used for wrought products, for example rolled plate, foils and extrusions. Cast aluminum alloys yield cost-effective products due to the low melting point, although they generally have lower tensile strengths than wrought alloys.
The most important cast aluminum alloy system is Al–Si, where the high levels of silicon (4.0–13%) contribute to give good casting characteristics. Aluminum alloys are widely used in engineering structures and components where light weight or corrosion resistance is required.
Alloys composed mostly of aluminum have been very important in aerospace manufacturing since the introduction of metal-skinned aircraft. Aluminum-magnesium alloys are both lighter than other aluminum alloys and much less flammable than other alloys that contain a very high percentage of magnesium. Aluminum alloy surfaces will develop a white, protective layer of aluminum oxide if left unprotected by anodizing and/or correct painting procedures.
In a wet environment, galvanic corrosion can occur when an aluminum alloy is placed in electrical contact with other metals with more positive corrosion potentials than aluminum, and an electrolyte is present that allows ion exchange. Referred to as dissimilar-metal corrosion, this process can occur as exfoliation or as intergranular corrosion. Aluminum alloys can be improperly heat treated. This causes internal element separation, and the metal then corrodes from the inside out.

It is the third most abundant element in the earth's crust and the most abundant metallic element. Aluminum Bohr ModelAluminum's name is derived from alumina, the mineral from which Sir Humphrey Davy attempted to refine it from in 1812. It wasn't until 1825 that Aluminum was first isolated by Hans Christian Oersted. Aluminum is a silvery gray metal that possesses many desirable characteristics. It is light, nonmagnetic and non-sparking. It stands second among metals in the scale of malleability, and sixth in ductility.
It is extensively used in many industrial applications where a strong, light, easily constructed material is needed. Elemental AluminumAlthough it has only 60% of the electrical conductivity of copper, it is used in electrical transmission lines because of its light weight. Pure aluminum is soft and lacks strength, but alloyed with small amounts of copper, magnesium, silicon, manganese, or other elements it imparts a variety of useful properties.

Aluminum Magnesium Oxide Description
Aluminum (or Aluminium) (atomic symbol: Al, atomic number: 13) is a Block P, Group 13, Period 3 element with an atomic weight of 26.9815386. It is the third most abundant element in the earth's crust and the most abundant metallic element. Aluminum's name is derived from alumina, the mineral from which Sir Humphrey Davy attempted to refine it from in 1812.
Although it has only 60% of the electrical conductivity of copper.
It is used in electrical transmission lines because of its light weight. Pure aluminum is soft and lacks strength, but alloyed with small amounts of copper, magnesium, silicon, manganese, or other elements it imparts a variety of useful properties.
Magnesium: Magnesium (atomic symbol: Mg, atomic number: 12) is a Block S, Group 2, Period 3 element with an atomic mass of 24.3050. The number of electrons in each of Magnesium's shells is and its electron configuration is [Ne] 3s2. The magnesium atom has a radius of 160 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 173 pm.
Magnesium was discovered by Joseph Black in 1775 and first isolated by Sir Humphrey Davy in 1808. Magnesium is the eighth most abundant element in the earth's crust and the fourth most common element in the earth as a whole. In its elemental form, magnesium has a shiny grey metallic appearance and is an extremely reactive.
It is can be found in minerals such as brucite, carnallite, dolomite, magnesite, olivine and talc. Commercially, magnesium is primarily used in the creation of strong and lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloys, which have numerous advantages in industrial applications. The name "Magnesium" originates from a Greek district in Thessaly called Magnesia.

Aluminum Product Description:
Aluminum (aluminum in American and Canadian English) is a chemical element with the symbol Al and atomic number 13. Aluminum has a density lower than those of other common metals, at approximately one third that of steel. Aluminum has a great affinity towards oxygen, thanks to which it forms a protective layer of oxide on the surface. Aluminum visually resembles silver, both in color and in great ability to reflect light. Aluminum is soft, non-magnetic and ductile.
It has one stable isotope, 27Al; this isotope is very common, making aluminum the twelfth most common element in the Universe. The radioactivity of 26Al is used in radio dating. Chemically, aluminum is a weak metal in the boron group; as it is common for the group, aluminum forms compounds primarily in the +3-oxidation state. The aluminum cation Al3+ is small and highly charged; as such, it is polarizing, and bonds aluminum forms tend towards covalency.
The strong affinity towards oxygen leads to aluminum’s common association with oxygen in nature in the form of oxides; for this reason, aluminum is found on Earth primarily in rocks in the crust, where it is the third most abundant element after oxygen and silicon, rather than in the mantle, and virtually never as the free metal.
The discovery of aluminum was announced in 1825 by Danish physicist Hans Christian Oersted. The first industrial production of aluminum was initiated by French chemist Henri Étienne Sainte-Claire Deville in 1856.
Aluminum became much more available to the public with the Hall–Herold process developed independently by French engineer Paul Herold and American engineer Charles Martin Hall in 1886, and the mass production of aluminum led to its extensive use in industry and everyday life. In World Wars I and II, aluminum was a crucial strategic resource for aviation. In 1954, aluminum became the most produced non-ferrous metal, surpassing copper.
In the 21st century, most aluminum was consumed in transportation, engineering, construction, and packaging in the United States, Western Europe, and Japan. Despite its prevalence in the environment, no living organism is known to use aluminum salts metabolically, but aluminum is well tolerated by plants and animals. Because of the abundance of these salts, the potential for a biological role for them is of continuing interest, and studies continue.

Aluminum Strontium Oxide
Aluminum Strontium Oxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Aluminum source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications.Oxide compounds are not conductive to electricity. However, certain perovskite structured oxides are electronically conductive finding application in the cathode of solid oxide fuel cells and oxygen generation systems.
They are compounds containing at least one oxygen anion and one metallic cation. They are typically insoluble in aqueous solutions (water) and extremely stable making them useful in ceramic structures as simple as producing clay bowls to advanced electronics and in light weight structural components in aerospace and electrochemical applications such as fuel cells in which they exhibit ionic conductivity.
Metal oxide compounds are basic anhydrides and can therefore react with acids and with strong reducing agents in redox reactions. Aluminum Strontium Oxide is also available in forms such as pellets, pieces, powders, sputtering targets, and nanoparticles (from Nanochemazone nanoscale production facilities).

Al2S3 Description :
Sulfides
Inorganic sulfides are ionic compounds containing the sulfide ion S2−. Sulfide compounds can be used in a wide variety of applications including solid-state electrolytes, cathode materials in lithium-ion and thermal batteries, semi-conductors in thermoelectric devices, as part of phosphor compositions, as photovoltaic materials, as pigments, and a variety of other applications. Nanochemazone is a world-leading manufacturer in the production of sulfide compounds with one of the most comprehensive selections of sulfides and extensive sulfide-manufacturing expertise. Most sulfides are manufactured as powders in large batch quantities but certain commercial sulfides are available in large metric-ton quantities. Additionally, Nanochemazone can custom synthesis sulfides that may not be listed in our catalog and can modify sulfides to customer's specifications including producing mixed sulfides, non-stoichiometric compositions, or special purities and particle sizes.
Aluminum Sulfide Applications:
Aluminum sulfide, also known as aluminium sulphide, is a compound of aluminum and sulfur with the formula Al2S3. A colorless or gray solid with an exceptional sensitivity to moisture, aluminum sulfide is not to be confused with the more widely used aluminum sulfate, Al2(SO4)3. Exposed to the atmosphere or other sources of moisture, aluminum sulfide will hydrolize into aluminum hydroxides and hydrogen sulfide gas. This makes careful storage and handling a priority. Many of the most interesting applications of aluminum sulfide remain in the early research phases, with many researchers eager to explore its value in aluminum-sulfur energy story.- Energy storage. A subject of research in the production of aluminum-sulfur batteries, a potentially superior alternative to lithium batteries.
- Like several similar metal sulfides, aluminum sulfide may be of value for its photovoltaic properties at smaller scales.
- Useful for its reactivity in producing several commercially or academically valuable compounds.
- Aluminum source. Moderately water and acid soluble source for aluminum.

Aluminum Yttrium Oxide
Aluminum Yttrium Oxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Aluminum source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications. Oxide compounds are not conductive to electricity.
Aluminum Oxide is also available in forms such as pellets, pieces, powders, sputtering targets, and nanoparticles (from Nanochemazone nanoscale production facilities). See Nanotechnology for more nanotechnology applications information. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered. Additional technical, research and safety (MSDS) information is available.
