Neodymium Barium Copper Oxide Description

Barium is a Block S, Group 2, Period 6 element with an atomic weight of 137.27. The number of electrons in each of barium's shells is [2, 8, 18, 18, 8, 2] and its electron configuration is [Xe] 6s2. Barium is a member of the alkaline-earth metals. The barium atom has a radius of 222 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 268 pm. Barium was discovered by Carl Wilhelm Scheele in 1772 and first isolated by Humphry Davy in 1808. In its elemental form, barium is a soft, silvery-gray metal. Industrial applications for barium include acting as a "getterer," or unwanted gas remover, for vacuum tubes, and as an additive to steel and cast iron. Barium is also alloyed with silicon and aluminum as load-bearing alloys. The main commercial source of barium is the mineral barite (BaSO4) it does not occur naturally as a free element . Our standard Sputtering Targets for thin film are available monoblock or bonded with planar target dimensions and configurations up to 820 mm with hole drill locations and threading, beveling, grooves and backing designed to work with both older sputtering devises as well as the latest process equipment, such as large area coating for solar energy or fuel cells and flip-chip applications. All targets are analyzed using best demonstrated techniques including X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GDMS), and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP). "Sputtering" allows for thin film deposition of an ultra high purity sputtering metallic or oxide material onto another solid substrate by the controlled removal and conversion of the target material into a directed gaseous/plasma phase through ionic bombardment. We can also provide targets outside this range in addition to just about any size rectangular, annular, or oval target.

Materials are produced using crystallization, solid state and other ultra high purification processes such as sublimation. Nanochemazone specializes in producing custom compositions for commercial and research applications and for new proprietary technologies. Nanochemazone also casts any of the rare earth metals and most other advanced materials into rod, bar, or plate form, as well as other machined shapes and through other processes such as nanoparticles and in the form of solutions and organometallics.

Niobium Titanium Aluminum Alloy Spherical Description:

Titanium alloys are alloys that contain a mixture of titanium and other chemical elements. Such alloys have very high tensile strength and toughness (even at extreme temperatures). They are light in weight, have extraordinary corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures.

However, the high cost of both raw materials and processing limit their use to military applications, aircraft, spacecraft, bicycles, medical devices, jewelry, highly stressed components such as connecting rods on expensive sports cars and some premium sports equipment and consumer electronics.

Although "commercially pure" titanium has acceptable mechanical properties and has been used for orthopedic and dental implants, for most applications titanium is alloyed with small amounts of aluminium and vanadium, typically 6% and 4% respectively, by weight. This mixture has a solid solubility which varies dramatically with temperature, allowing it to undergo precipitation strengthening. This heat treatment process is carried out after the alloy has been worked into its final shape but before it is put to use, allowing much easier fabrication of a high-strength product.

Generally, beta-phase titanium is the more ductile phase and alpha-phase is stronger yet less ductile, due to the larger number of slip planes in the bcc structure of the beta-phase in comparison to the hcp alpha-phase. Alpha-beta-phase titanium has a mechanical property which is in between both. Titanium dioxide dissolves in the metal at high temperatures, and its formation is very energetic.

These two factors mean that all titanium except the most carefully purified has a significant amount of dissolved oxygen, and so may be considered a Ti–O alloy. Oxide precipitates offer some strength (as discussed above), but are not very responsive to heat treatment and can substantially decrease the alloy's toughness.

Many alloys also contain titanium as a minor additive, but since alloys are usually categorized according to which element forms the majority of the material, these are not usually considered to be "titanium alloys" as such. See the sub-article on titanium applications.

Titanium alone is a strong, light metal. It is stronger than common, low-carbon steels, but 45% lighter. It is also twice as strong as weak aluminium alloys but only 60% heavier. Titanium has outstanding corrosion resistance to seawater, and thus is used in propeller shafts, rigging and other parts of boats that are exposed to seawater. Titanium and its alloys are used in airplanes, missiles, and rockets where strength, low weight, and resistance to high temperatures are important. Further, since titanium does not react within the human body, it and its alloys are used in artificial joints, screws, and plates for fractures, and for other biological implants. The niobium atom has a radius of 146 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 207 pm. Niobium was discovered by Charles Hatchett in 1801 and first isolated by Christian Wilhelm Blomstrand in 1864. In its elemental form, niobium has a gray metallic appearance. Niobium has the largest magnetic penetration depth of any element and is one of three elemental type-II superconductors (along with vanadium and technetium). Niobium is found in the minerals pyrochlore, its main commercial source, and columbite. The word Niobium originates from Niobe, daughter of mythical Greek king Tantalus. Osmium Oxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Osmium source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications.   Description: Two-dimensional black phosphorus is an emerging material. For the past two years, black phosphorus has attracted the attention of the scientific community due to its promising applications in electronic devices and biosensors. In this work, black phosphorus nanoparticles (BPNPs) derived from a facile, one-step synthesis method were successfully employed as nanofluorophores in the development of a fluorescent sensing platform for DNA detection, for the first time. This detection strategy exploits the differences in affinities of labelled single-stranded and double-stranded DNA oligonucleotides towards spontaneous self-assembly with black phosphorus nanoparticles. A wide linear detection range with good linearity (r = 0.91) spanning from 4 pM to 4000 pM was achieved with the constructed nanosensor, including the ability to distinguish triple nucleotide polymorphism. Moreover, high sensitivity was also demonstrated with a low limit of detection (LOD = 5.9 pM) and limit of quantification (LOQ = 19.7 pM). This paper demonstrates a proof of concept that black phosphorus possesses promising potential for bio sensing applications, in particular as DNA nanobiosensors, and the reported findings would be significant in encouraging further research work into the development of biomedical devices and technologies based on black phosphorus.   Please email us for the customization.   Description: In the present study, morphology, size distribution, structure, biocompatibility and magnetic properties of potassium nanoparticles (KFeO2 NPs), synthesized by conventional sol–gel method have been reported. The formation of spherical nanoparticles with orthorhombic structure has been confirmed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The particle size, as obtained by transmission electron microscopy has been found to be in the range of 4–7 nm. Further, the size distribution has been scrutinized using Analyse-it software, where a platykurtic feature in the size distribution was observed. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis showed the formation of metal (Fe, K) bonds at Neel temperature of 337 °C. Vibrating sample magnetometer analysis revealed the superparamagnetic behaviour of the synthesized KFeO2 NPs, with saturation magnetization of 25.72 emu/g. The hydrate, with a varying proportion of water of crystallization, often approximating to a trihydrate, is a commonly used starting material in ruthenium chemistry.

Ruthenium chloride hydrate is used as a starting material in ruthenium chemistry. It acts as a precursor to many ruthenium compounds, which finds application as catalysts in asymmetric hydrogenation and alkene metathesis.

It serves as a catalyst in the preparation of 2-ethyl-3-methylquinolines from primary aromatic amines and triallylamine. Further, it is used in the preparation of nanoparticulate ruthenium-aluminum oxyhydroxide catalyst for the efficient dehydrogenation of arylmethyl alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes.

Seaborgium Description

Seaborgium, a transactinide, is the heaviest element that has been studied in aqueous solution. A synthetic element, it was first produced at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in the former Soviet Union in June of 1974. Silicon Disulfide Description

Silicon Sulfide is a moderately water and acid soluble Silicon source for uses compatible with sulfates. Sulfate compounds are salts or esters of sulfuric acid formed by replacing one or both of the hydrogens with a metal. Most metal sulfate compounds are readily soluble in water for uses such as water treatment, unlike fluorides and oxides which tend to be insoluble. Organometallic forms are soluble in organic solutions and sometimes in both aqueous and organic solutions.

Metallic ions can also be dispersed utilizing suspended or coated nanoparticles and deposited utilizing sputtering targets and evaporation materials for uses such as solar energy materials and fuel cells. Silicon Sulfide is generally immediately available in most volumes. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.
