ScAl3C3 MAXene Powder INTRODUCTION

MAX phase ceramics (including titanium silicon carbide, Ti3AlC2 materials, etc.) are a new type of processing conductive ceramic materials that have attracted much attention. These ceramics contain more than sixty kinds of ternary carbides or nitrides. M represents the transitional front metal elements. ; A represents the main group element, mainly the elements of the third main group and the fourth main group; X represents a carbon or nitrogen element. Among them, Ti3SiC2 is the most widely studied. Ti3SiC2 was successfully synthesized by hot pressing method in 1996 by Professor Barsoum M of Drexel University in the United States, and its excellent performance was found. Due to the unique nano-layered crystal structure, these ceramic materials have antioxidant, self-lubricating properties, high room temperature fracture toughness and electrical conductivity. Such materials can be widely used as high temperature structural materials, electrode brush materials, chemical anticorrosive materials and high temperature heating elements. Seaborgium Description

Seaborgium, a transactinide, is the heaviest element that has been studied in aqueous solution. A synthetic element, it was first produced at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in the former Soviet Union in June of 1974. In September of that same year, a team at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory also succeeded in producing the element. Despite the Soviet team's priority for this discovery, the element was named after the American chemist Glenn Seaborg, a winner of the 1951 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and the co-discoverer of 10 transuranic elements, as part of a compromise agreement concerning the naming of elements 104 through 108. Seaborg's actinide concept transformed the periodic table, and he served as chairman of the United States Atomic Energy Commission for 10 years. Later in life, he was an ardent supporter of science education and science literacy.

Silicon Sulfide is a moderately water and acid soluble Silicon source for uses compatible with sulfates. When used as reinforcement fibers, carbon nanotubes can improve the quality and properties of metal, polymer and ceramics. Silver Cadmium Oxide Description

Cadmium is a Block D, Group 12, Period 5 element with an atomic weight of 112.411. The number of electrons in each of Cadmium's shells is 2, 8, 18, 18, 2 and its electron configuration is [Kr] 4d10 5s2. The cadmium atom has a radius of 151 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 230 pm.Cadmium was discovered and first isolated by Karl Samuel Leberecht Hermann and Friedrich Stromeyer in 1817. In its elemental form, cadmium has a silvery bluish gray metallic appearance.

Cadmium makes up about 0.1 ppm of the earth's crust. No significant deposits of cadmium containing ores are known, however, it is sometimes found in its metallic form. It is a common impurity in zinc ores and is isolated during the production of zinc.

Cadmium is a key component in battery production and particular pigments and coatings due to its distinct yellow color. Cadmium oxide is used in phosphors for television picture tubes. The name Cadmium originates from the Latin word 'cadmia' and the Greek word 'kadmeia'.
