The majority of silicon solar cells are fabricated from Crystal Silicon-silicon dioxide Wafer n-type, which may be either single-crystalline or multi-crystalline. Single-crystalline wafers typically have better material parameters but are also more expensive.

Crystalline silicon has an ordered crystal structure, with each atom ideally lying in a pre-determined position. Crystalline silicon exhibits predictable and uniform behavior but because of the careful and slow manufacturing processes required,

It is also the most expensive type of silicon. In electronics, a wafer (also called a slice or substrate) is a thin slice of semiconductor, such as crystalline silicon (c-Si), used for the fabrication of integrated circuits and, in photovoltaics, to manufacture solar cells.

The wafer serves as the substrate for microelectronic devices built in and upon the wafer. It undergoes many microfabrication processes, such as doping, ion implantation, etching, thin-film deposition of various materials, and photolithographic patterning.

Finally, the individual microcircuits are separated by wafer dicing and packaged as an integrated circuit.

Single Crystal Silicon Wafer N-Type (1 inch). We have heated polished doped single-crystal silicon wafers in a single-mode microwave cavity to temperatures where surface to surface bonding occurred. The absorption of microwaves and heating of the wafers is attributed to the inclusion of n-type or p-type impurities into these substrates.

A cylindrical cavity TM (sub 010) standing wave mode was used to irradiate samples of various geometry at positions of high magnetic field. This process was conducted in a vacuum to exclude plasma effects.

This initial study suggests that the inclusion of impurities in single crystal silicon significantly improved its microwave absorption (loss factor) to a point where heating silicon wafers directly can be accomplished in minimal time. Bonding of these substrates, however, occurs only at points of intimate surface to surface contact. The inclusion of a thin metallic layer on the surfaces enhances the bonding process.

Single Layer Graphene Oxide Dispersion

Spherical High Speed Steel Description

Stainless steel is a group of iron-based alloys that contain a minimum of approximately 11% chromium a composition that prevents the iron from rusting and also provides heat-resistant properties. Different types of stainless steel include the elements carbon (from 0.03% to greater than 1.00%), nitrogen, aluminium, silicon, sulfur, titanium, nickel, copper, selenium, niobium, and molybdenum.[4]:3 Specific types of stainless steel are often designated by a three-digit number, e.g., 304 stainless. Stainless steel's resistance to rusting results from the presence of chromium in the alloy, which forms a passive film that protects the underlying material from corrosion attack, and can self-heal in the presence of oxygen.[4]:3 Corrosion resistance can be increased further, by: increasing the chromium content to levels above 11% addition of 8% or higher amounts of nickel. addition of molybdenum (which also improves resistance to "pitting corrosion"). The addition of nitrogen also improves resistance to pitting corrosion and increases mechanical strength. Thus, there are numerous grades of stainless steel with varying chromium and molybdenum contents to suit the environment the alloy must endure. The iron atom has a radius of 126 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 194 pm. Iron was discovered by humans before 5000 BC. In its elemental form, iron has a lustrous grayish metallic appearance.

Molybdenum was discovered by Carl Wilhelm in 1778 and first isolated by Peter Jacob Hjelm in 1781. Molybdenum is the 54th most abundant element in the earth's crust. It has the third highest melting point of any element, exceeded only by tungsten and tantalum. Molybdenum does not occur naturally as a free metal, it is found in various oxidation states in minerals.

The primary commercial source of molybdenum is molybdenite, although it is also recovered as a byproduct of copper and tungsten mining. The origin of the name Molybdenum comes from the Greek word molubdos meaning lead.

Strontium:

Strontium is a Block S, Group 2, Period 5 element with an atomic weight of 87.62 . The number of electrons in each of Strontium's shells is [2, 8, 18, 8, 2] and its electron configuration is [Kr] 5s2.

The strontium atom has a radius of 215 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 249 pm. Strontium was discovered by William Cruickshank in 1787 and first isolated by Humphry Davy in 1808. In its elemental form, strontium is a soft, silvery white metallic solid that quickly turns yellow when exposed to air. 

Cathode ray tubes in televisions are made of strontium, which are becoming increasingly displaced by other display technologies pyrotechnics and fireworks employ strontium salts to achieve a bright red color.

Radioactive isotopes of strontium have been used in radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) and for certain cancer treatments. In nature, most strontium is found in celestite (as strontium sulfate) and strontianite (as strontium carbonate). Strontium was named after the Scottish town where it was discovered.

Strontium is a Block S, Group 2, Period 5 element with an atomic weight of 87.62 . The number of electrons in each of Strontium's shells is [2, 8, 18, 8, 2] and its electron configuration is [Kr] 5s2. The strontium atom has a radius of 215 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 249 pm. Strontium was discovered by William Cruickshank in 1787 and first isolated by Humphry Davy in 1808. In its elemental form, strontium is a soft, silvery white metallic solid that quickly turns yellow when exposed to air. Cathode ray tubes in televisions are made of strontium, which are becoming increasingly displaced by other display technologies pyrotechnics and fireworks employ strontium salts to achieve a bright red color. Radioactive isotopes of strontium have been used in radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) and for certain cancer treatments. In nature, most strontium is found in celestite (as strontium sulfate) and strontianite (as strontium carbonate). Strontium was named after the Scottish town where it was discovered.Tin is a Block P, Group 14, Period 5 element with an atomic weight of 118.710. It is malleable, ductile and highly crystalline. Tin has nine stable isotopes and 18 unstable isotopes. Under 3.72 degrees Kelvin, Tin becomes a superconductor. Applications for tin include soldering, plating, and such alloys as pewter. The first uses of tin can be dated to the Bronze Age around 3000 BC in which tin and copper were combined to make the alloy bronze. The origin of the word tin comes from the Latin word Stannum which translates to the Anglo-Saxon word tin. Synthetic Graphite Powder Description  :

Graphite archaically referred to as plumbago, is a crystalline form of the element carbon with its atoms arranged in a hexagonal structure.

Synthetic Graphite Powder occurs naturally in this form and is the most stable form of carbon under standard conditions. Under high pressures and temperatures, it converts to diamond. Synthetic Graphite Powder is used in pencils and lubricants.

Synthetic Graphite Powder a good conductor of heat and electricity. Its high conductivity makes it useful in electronic products such as electrodes, batteries, and solar panels. Solid carbon comes in different forms known as allotropes depending on the type of chemical bond. The two most common are diamond and graphite (less common ones include buckminsterfullerene).

In diamond the bonds are sp3 and the atoms form tetrahedra with each bound to four nearest neighbors. In graphite, they are sp2 orbital hybrids and the atoms form in planes with each bound to three nearest neighbors 120 degrees apart.

The individual layers are called graphene. In each layer, the carbon atoms are arranged in a honeycomb lattice with a separation of 0.142 nm, and the distance between planes is 0.335 nm. Atoms in the plane are bonded covalently, with only three of the four potential bonding sites satisfied.

The fourth electron is free to migrate in the plane, making graphite electrically conductive. Bonding between layers is via weak van der Waals bonds, which allows layers of graphite to be easily separated, or to slide past each other.

Electrical conductivity perpendicular to the layers is consequently about 1000 times lower. The two known forms of graphite, alpha (hexagonal), and beta (rhombohedral), have very similar physical properties, except that the graphene layers stack slightly differently.

The alpha graphite may be either flat or buckled. The alpha form can be converted to the beta form through mechanical treatment and the beta form reverts to the alpha form when it is heated above 1300 °C

The melting points of tantalum carbides peak at about 3880 °C depending on the purity and measurement conditions; this value is among the highest for binary compounds. Only tantalum hafnium carbide may have a slightly higher melting point of about 3942 °C, whereas the melting point of hafnium carbide is comparable to that of TaC.

1. Tantalum carbide is often added to tungsten carbide/cobalt (WC/Co) powder attritions to enhance the physical properties of the sintered structure. It also acts as a grain growth inhibitors preventing the formation of large grains, thus producing materials of optimal hardness. 2. It is also used as a coating for steel molds in the injection molding of aluminum alloys. While providing a hard, wear-resistant surface, it also provides a low friction mold surface. 3. Tantalum carbide is also used in the production of sharp instruments with extreme mechanical resistance and hardness. 4. It is also used in tool bits for cutting tools. Tantalum carbide is widely used as a sintering additive in ultra-high temperature ceramics (UHTCs) or as a ceramic reinforcement in high-entropy alloys (HEAs) due to its excellent physical properties in melting point, hardness, elastic modulus, thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance, and chemical stability, which makes it a desirable material for aircraft and rockets in aerospace industries. Tantalum Niobium Carbide Powder is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number. Previously known as tantalum, it is named after Tantalus, a villain from Greek mythology.

Tantalum is a rare, hard, blue-gray, lustrous transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant. It is part of the refractory metals group, which are widely used as minor components in alloys.

The chemical inertness of tantalum makes it a valuable substance for laboratory equipment, and as a substitute for platinum.

Its main use today is in tantalum capacitors in electronic equipment such as mobile phones, DVD players, video game systems, and computers. Tantalum, always together with the chemically similar niobium, occurs in the mineral groups tantalite, columbite, and coltan (a mix of columbite and tantalite, though not recognized as a separate mineral species.

Tantalum is considered a technology-critical element. Tantalum is dark dense, ductile, very hard, easily fabricated, and highly conductive of heat and electricity. The metal is renowned for its resistance to corrosion by acids; in fact, at temperatures below 150 °C tantalum is almost completely immune to attack by the normally aggressive aqua regia.

It can be dissolved with hydrofluoric acid or acidic solutions containing the fluoride ion and sulfur trioxide, as well as with a solution of potassium hydroxide.

Tantalum's high melting point of 3017 °C (boiling point 5458 °C) is exceeded among the elements only by tungsten, rhenium, and osmium for metals, and carbon. Tantalum exists in two crystalline phases, alpha, and beta.

The alpha phase is relatively ductile and soft; it has a body-centered cubic structure (space group Im3m, lattice constant a = 0.33058 nm), Knoop hardness 200–400 HN and electrical resistivity 15–60. The beta phase is hard and brittle; its crystal symmetry is tetragonal (space group P42/mnm, a = 1.0194 nm, c = 0.5313 nm), Knoop hardness is 1000–1300 HN and electrical resistivity is relative.

The beta phase is metastable and converts to the alpha phase upon heating to 750–775 °C. Bulk tantalum is almost entirely alpha phase, and the beta phase usually exists as thin films obtained by magnetron sputtering, chemical vapor deposition or electrochemical deposition from a eutectic molten salt solution
